Marahau

Marahau is a small settlement located in the Tasman Region of the South Island, New Zealand; it is located approximately 19 kilometres north of Motueka.

Marahau's location at the southern entrance of Abel Tasman National Park makes it a popular holiday destination all year round for trampers, kayakers and beachgoers.

From Marahau you can book water taxis, hire kayaks, set off on the Coastal Track or visit the striking beach which offers safe swimming. The camping grounds are very popular over summer but there is still a range of backpacker accommodation and the local cafe offers impressive views of the beach and the national park.
