LAST UPDATED : 19 March 2008 at 21:36:24 Hi,
I want to travel around New Zealand in '08 for a couple of weeks and wanted to know what the best time of year it is to travel over there and also how much money would I need? Are things really expensive??
Thanks. REPLY | PRINT | EDIT RE: HELP REQUIREDREPLY POSTED BY : Max on 02 November 2007 at 10:53:28 Hey Kris,
If you want to save money try to avoid travelling during December and January as they are the peak travelling months. The best skiing months are between May and October. Hope this helps. REPLY | PRINT | EDIT |
RE: HELP REQUIREDREPLY POSTED BY : Tombo on 13 March 2008 at 10:07:23 ok, well if you are wanting some really beautiful pictures and scenery then you should travel in the snow season, because not only can you take ski but there is nothing better then snow tip mountains and the lakes go classy like ice.
This time is not the cheapiest time to travel there but is also not the most expensive. Try the north and south island. Although personally my favourite is the south end of the south island.

RE: HELP REQUIREDREPLY POSTED BY : Josh on 19 March 2008 at 16:46:57 Ok, New Zealand is nothing like the England and America when talking price. It is cheaper all round.
For 2 weeks you will need a mininum on 1500 dollars not including accomodation. That is spending money tours, food and drinks. Accomodation is pretty well priced check it out on this site in the accomodation section.
Have fun
Regards Josh. REPLY | PRINT | EDIT |
