I have been wondering what the best size rucksack would be for roughly 3 months travel.

Hey Johnno,

It really depends if you want to be wearing the same clothes all of the time but I've got a friend who was backpacking for a month and only took a 45L backback and got along just fine.

But when I went backpacking I took 70L plus a 35L daypack and I managed to fit everything that I needed plus everything I bought along the way.

You could easily get away with having a 55L rucksack and then maybe a 15L day bag. You tend to travel with more than you really need.
