Description

Wellington is the cafe and coffee capital of New Zealand. We claim more cafes per head of population than New York as many coffee roasters as London. During this food tour you're guaranteed to sample great coffee and food!

You'll start the day with great coffee and wander through Wellington's narrow streets to discover the city's hidden culinary treasures and meet some of the people behind some of the city's best food. Sample special treats - including coffee, chocolate and cheeses - explore unusual regional or seasonal produce, and discuss food and eating trends among real New Zealanders.

Session Details

Food tours are available Monday - Saturday all year round, excluding public holidays, and are subject to availability. The tour starts at 9.30am and finishes at 12 noon. Please arrive at 9.20am so we can depart on time.

Experience Participants

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of two and a maximum of eight people in the group. We keep the group small to encourage maximum interaction with your guide and other tour participants.

Participant Guidelines

Please let us know in advance if you have special dietary requirements or food allergies. The tour includes some walking, which will be at a strolling pace, so it's suitable for people of almost any fitness level.

Participant Dress Code

We recommend you wear smart, casual clothing and comfortable shoes for walking in.
