This tour offers participants the chance to explore Walter Peak High Country Farm the traditional way – by horseback. Your experienced guides will take you across rolling farm terraces to a lookout with spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The riding is easy and suitable for inexperienced riders.
The ride is estimated at approximately 40 minutes, and all riding equipment is provided on location. After returning your horse back to the stables, you will enjoy a traditional morning or afternoon tea at the Colonel’s Homestead. This tour is a great way to actively involve children, or have a peaceful morning/afternoon's horse ride.
