If you seek to further your surfing skills, then an Intermediate Surfing Lesson on North Island's fantastic beaches is just what you are looking for! With 2 stages of courses available, you may choose a class to suit your ability. This personalised experience creates the perfect environment to develop your exisiting surfing ability.

Once you get to this level of surfing ability you will benefit from a more personalised training lesson. This course will help you develop your skills with two, 2 hour lessons in beautiful New Zealand waters. With a ratio of 4 participants to 1 instructor you will have more time with the instructor to work on any weaknesses in your technique.

Intermediate Stage 1

For people who have mastered the art of standing in the white water. Intermediate lessons are mobile giving you access to the best learning conditions on the day.

Course includes:

Paddling out back
Introduction to green waves
Ideal point to catch the green wave
Green wave take offs
Transportation to the beach with the best surf conditions (1 to 3ft) within a two hour radius of central city Auckland.

Intermediate Stage 2

For people who can drop into the green wave. Intermediate lessons are mobile giving you access to the best learning conditions on the day.

Course Includes:

Bottom and top turns
Cut backs
Floaters and re-entries
Tube riding
Transportation to the beach with the best surf conditions (2 to 3ft) within a two hour radius of central city Auckland.

These lessons operate on a 4 to 1 basis, with an instructor in the water with you at all times. The surf conditions need to be a perfect 1-3ft. You will be added to an Intermediate level data base and contacted a couple of days before hand when the conditions are right to see if you're available.
