Picking the guests and guide up from the lodge, they will be escorted to one of our many secluded rivers for a full days fishing action. Close by the Urewera National Park is home to some of this country’s top fishing streams and much of this vast national park is only practically accessible by helicopter.
Apart from the fishing the scenery and scale of the landscape is simply quite stunning. Both Rainbow and Brown trout can be sighted in the crystal clear streams, challenging your skills with a dry-fly or nymph tackle.
This is the angling experience of a lifetime. ‘Catch and release’ is the practice, however there are always great photo opportunities. Our helicopter will return later in the day to pick them up.
