Step across this great frontier and meet the challenge of whitewater rafting the Shotover River. Experience the rugged beauty and unspoilt grandeur of the breathtaking scenery as you conquer this wild and untamed river.
Your adventure begins as you arrive on location of the magnificent Shotover River. Here you will meet your friendly and experienced guide, and receive a briefing on the safety and precautions taken during the experience. Once you've donned a lifejacket and helemt, you'll be ready to put your paddle to use.
Work together as a team as you tackle six rapids on this more advanced rafting course. Enjoy the picturesque scenery of Shotover River, before your senses are snapped into overdrive by teh roar of an approaching rapid. You will then have the opportunity to raft through the darkness of the 170 metre Oxenbridge Tunnel, proceeding to shoot through the Cascade Rapid to complete the challenge.

This experience requires a minimum number of confirmed participants to operate. A maximum of 6 to 7 participants may ride in the same raft.
GUIDELINES
Participants must be at least 13 years of age and weigh a minimum of 40kg.
You must know how to swim in order to participate in this experience.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Participants are advised to bring a change of dry clothes, swimmers and a towel.
Gear such as wetsuits, spray jackets, booties, life jackets and helmets will be provided for participants while rafting.

If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days after the expiry of your voucher, the voucher cannot be extended.
