Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Auckland - Paihia - Cape Brett
Travel north via the Hibiscus Coast to the beautiful Bay of Islands. On arrival in the Bay of Islands visit the historic Waitangi Grounds, site of the historic treaty between Maori and European pioneers. View a magnificent Maori meeting house and a large war canoe then transfer to the Paihia waterfront to join a dolphin watching cruise to Cape Brett. Travel thgough the famous "Hole in the Rock" and through Grand Cathedral Cave (weather permitting). Picnic lunch is included .
Accommodation: Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands, Bounty Inn Motel or similar.
Day 2 - Cape Reinga Day Tour
Travel to the top of the North Island - Cape Reinga. Walk out to the lighthouse and see where the Pacific Ocean collides with the Tasman Sea. This beautiful region is steeped in Maori legend and mythology. Highlights of the journey include a visit to the Kauri Forests, sand tobogganing down the massive sand dunes at Te Paki Stream and travelling by coach down Ninety Mile Beach. Lunch is included. Return to Paihia by 6.30pm.

Day 3 - Paihia - Auckland
Free time in Paihia. Depart on the Great Sights Coach at 4.30pm, arrive back into Auckland 8.10pm.

GUIDELINES
Infants under 2 years free of charge (using existing bedding and not occupying a seat).
Children 12 years and under, who share a room with two adults travel at 50% of the adult twin share rate.
For one adult and one child the adult pays the twin share rate and the child pays 80% of that price.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
You will receive a detailed itinerary, explaining your schedule. After starting the tour you are taken to your accommodation each night and picked up from there every morning.
OTHER
All tours may be extended or amended, provided that these arrangements are made more than 15 days prior to departure. Amendments will icur a fee of NZ$50 per change of file. Amendments within 15 days of travel will also incur additional fees in accordance with the policies of the suppliers.
If travelling alone on an Independent Tour, you must pay the single room - per person costs advertised.
