Dolphins love playing with our catamarans and you get right out to the head of the fiord and the Tasman Sea, stopping at waterfalls and points of interest on the way.
Milford has an abundance of wildlife and is home to Southern Fur Seals and Southern Bottle-Nosed Dolphins all year round. Rare Dusky Dolphins are also known to venture into the sound and show off their acrobatics. The world's rarest penguin - the Fiordland Crested Penguin - visits Milford during mating season.
While there is always wildlife in Milford Sound unfortunately we can't guarantee sightings as these are wild animals enjoying their natural habitat. However a visit to the Milford Discovery Centre guarantees a chance to see wildlife as there are always birds on the dock and an abundance of beautiful sea life below. Our experienced crew delivers a full, informative commentary on the natural history and wildlife of the area, and conveniently timed year-round departures mean you never have to miss out.

We offer convenient departures 365 days a year. During Summer Scenic Cruises depart at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. During Winter Scenic Cruises depart at 11:00am, 1:30pm and 3:20pm. Bookings are essential, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our scenic cruise runs for a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

GUIDELINES
Child Rates are applicable for children aged 4 - 14 years inclusive. Children 3 years and under travel free.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Due to the changeable nature of the weather in Milford it is always a good idea to bring a warm jacket and wear sensible shoes. We do get sandflies in Milford - mainly just before it rains. To avoid being bitten bring mosquito spray.

Translation sheets are provided in Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Korean and Mandarin. The Scenic Cruise is family and wheelchair friendly, with a whole top deck for viewing and panoramic photo opportunities, and large covered seating areas and viewing windows on other levels. Rates are valid from 01 November 2010 to 30 April 2011.

If your voucher has already expired and you contact us within 30 days of its expiry, we can extend it for an administration fee of $30.00 per month / per voucher (one month only).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days after the expiry of your voucher, the voucher cannot be extended.
