Drumming For Team Building - 20 to 30 ppl
This team building experience creates a powerful and long-lasting impact. This isn't about learning to play the drum, it’s about creating results for the team! Drumming is a powerful metaphor for teaming and what high-performance teams can look like. Get a genuine, motivated response!
The time is 1.30pm, and delegates are about to re-enter the auditorium for the post-lunch session of a seminar. Their expressionless faces start showing signs of life as they are met by rhythmic progressions coming out to greet them at the room's entrance.
As they enter to a musical reception, enthusiasm engulfs them, as they realise that pen and paper have been replaced by drums on each of their seats.
Rhythmic contributions start rolling in from the delegates until everyone in the room is drawn into the cacophony of sounds. At this point, facilitators guide everyone through a series of simple beats and exercises turning individuals into one orchestrated group, without saying one single word.
For the duration of the presentation, the delegates become performers rather than spectators, and through guidance, learn the importance of a team and its reliance on the individual.
At the conclusion of the circle, delegates leave the room smiling and joking with one another, feeling elated, uplifted and ready for success.
In simple terms, what we do is bring a drum along for every member of your team or event, and within 30 – 45 minutes we have them all playing great music together as a team and we do all of this WITHOUT SAYING A SINGLE WORD! |
