Tucked into the hill above the vineyard slopes and the sea is the winery café on Waiheke Island, with spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland Isthmus. You and a friend can enjoy a stunning helicopter scenic flight to Te Whau Vineyard & then return by helicopter to Auckland.

Description

Upon arrival at our Ardmore Airfield base, you will be greeted by your pilot. The adventure will begin with a safety briefing and then you will embark on a sensational helicopter tour en route to Waiheke Island.

Your pilot will provide a commentary of the sights. Sample the fabulous food & wine overlooking the water with Auckland City in the backdrop.

PLEASE NOTE: Meals and beverages at Te Whau Vineyard are not included in the price. All meals & beverages are payable direct to Te Whau Vineyard on the day of your experience.

Session Details

Flight duration is 15 minutes each way and the dining experience is approximately 4 hours. This package is available Saturday and Sundays all year round (weather permitting) or the 6 days from Labour Weekend to Easter Weekend. All bookings are subject to availability. Please book well in advance.

This experience is for 2 people plus your pilot.

The maximum weight is 120kg per person.

You are not required to sign a waiver. Meals and beverages are NOT included in the price. These are payable on the day of your experience. Please Note: No severely intoxicated person will be allowed to board the helicopter.
