Description

This guided eco-tour takes you from the heart of Auckland to wilderness New Zealand. First you visit the Arataki Centre perched on the ridge of the Waitakere Ranges where you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of two oceans. Learn about the traditional Maori carvings before heading to the lush rainforest where you walk the easy bush tracks amongst our famous kauri trees and giant tree ferns. Unwind by a cascading waterfall or swim beneath it. Move on to feel the power of the wild and rugged west coast and stroll along awe-inspiring black sand beaches.

As you will be walking on beaches and in rainforest we suggest you wear comfortable flat soled shoes or boots for walking and clothing to suit the weather conditions.
