Are you ready for an adventure! Meet the lions face to face, check out the hippos and their massive teeth as you feed them, and come eye to eye with the rhinos and more.

Enjoy this up close experience with the wild animals of Africa!

Your African animal experience itinerary:

* Meet your tour group leader and be given a briefing and safety talk
* Sign the Health & Safety induction form
* Make your way through zoo taking in sights and sounds
* Meet the tallest animal on earth, the giraffe
* Get up close with the rhino
* Stare into the mouth of the biggest killers in Africa - The hippo
* Meet the lions at the back of their exhibit and get up close and personal for an experience of a lifetime!

Session Details

The tour operates on Fridays and Saturdays. We recommend that you book at least 21 days in advance of your preferred date. The tour starts at 9.30am and finishes at 11.30am.

Experience Participants

We operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people per tour.

Participant Guidelines

Don't forget your camera! The minimum age requirement is 8 years old. An adult must accompany any children under the age of 15. Due to the possibility of unforeseeable animal health or staffing issues, we cannot guarantee that all animals and exhibits will be available.

Participant Dress Code

Please ensure that you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear. Please bring shower-proof, warm clothing and appropriate footwear such as sneakers or boots.

Other Information

Your guide will be with you at all times during the tour. Our staff take all practical steps to reduce the risks in their activities to acceptable levels and make the group aware of the level of risk in each activity. However all activities require a shared responsibility.
