You will learn how creative, interactive and challenging it can be to prepare food in a team. Even more so because the atmosphere and the food are unmistakably Italian, like your host, Raffaela Delmonte.

Description

The experience will take the following format:

Welcome coffee and biscotti:
Begin with a coffee and home-baked biscotti while the tutor gives an introduction and orientation. Instructions in basic cooking techniques are given.

The teams:
The group is divided into smaller teams. Each team must decide a team name (Italian, of course), elect a team captain and & other challanges

Cooking competition:
A competition with point system is prepared to award:-
Best team in food preparation.
Best team in food presentation.
Best team in food tasting.
The best team overall will receive a certificate.

Enjoy the food:
Time to enjoy each the food prepared and the special dessert Raffaela has prepared for the occasion.

Cooking themes (examples only):
Making Pasta fresca
Participants of each team prepare dough in pairs using different natural colours (pumpkin and saffron, tomato and paprika, beetroot and chilli, spinach and nutmeg)
? Each team rolls out the dough to obtain rainbow tagliatelle.
? Longest tagliatella competition
? Blind tasting of tagliatelle with points given
? Food presentation,
? Nomination (prizegiving) to winning team.
? Time to celebrate, relax and enjoy the dessert Raffaela has prepared.
