Awaken your senses and feel the power of our 1600HP power boat as you travel through New Zealand's ultimate marine playground. Experience thrills of the Excitor 'Hole in the Rock' Adventure as you accelerate out into the open water riding the waves in the fastest powerboat of its size in the Bay!

Description

Your experience begins by getting geared up, followed by a briefing on safety procedures. Protective clothing and camera bags are supplied. You will then make your way down to the boat and have your photo taken in front of the ?Excitor? (which you can purchase at the conclusion of your experience if you wish).

The boat then makes its way out to the ?Hole in the Rock?, past many islands with informative and amusing commentary from your skipper and crew. Once at the ?Hole in the Rock? the jet boat will slow for photo and video opportunities of the spectacular scenery.

When conditions permit, the vessel will make its way through the ?Hole in the Rock? and into Cathedral Cave for a breathtaking experience. This 90 minute adventure combines high speed thrills with exploration of the best of the Bay of Islands.

From there you will enjoy the exhilaration of riding the waves back to Paihia in the fastest powerboat of its size in the Bay!

Session Details

We operate daily departures from Paihia and Russell. Sessions from October to April depart at 8.00am, 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm. Sessions run from May to September & depart 10.30am & 2.30pm. We operate every day of the year, weather and sea conditions permitting.

Experience Participants

We operate with a maximum of 54 passengers.

This is an adventure ride and we recommend that you be of sound health to participate in this activity. If in doubt, please talk to our staff prior to booking.

Participant Dress Code

Protective clothing supplied in the form of waterproof jackets & pants. Be prepared to get wet from sea spray and if it is rains on the day.
